Our Accredited Partner Programme is designed to recognise those accounting firms we regard as experts in the agricultural sector. They have demonstrated outstanding knowledge of Cashmanager RURAL, and can help add value to your farming business. In this blog we profile Moore Stephens Markhams Wanganui.

For 40 years, Moore Stephens Markhams has been part of the Wanganui community, providing financial advice to a wide range of rural clients. As part of the Moore Stephens Markhams network, we have established significant expertise and strength in the agribusiness sector throughout New Zealand. Our people know their region, what drives regional success, and can offer practical accounting and financial advice to help make the right decisions today, minimising the risks of this volatile industry.

We have a practice in Waverley operating in south Taranaki with a client base focused almost exclusively on rural and forestry business, and have two principals with particular interests in the agricultural and forestry industries who have extensive knowledge in farm accounting and forestry.

In recent times the agricultural sector has become like many other service industries, with a demand to know how their business stands in real time, and the best way to do this is with implementation of technology, which is where Cashmanager RURAL plays a huge part.

Online software packages allow us to gather and share information more easily and allows the client to attend to matters outside of normal working hours. Because Cashmanager RURAL focuses on one industry – the agriculture sector, they have become a master of their trade and have therefore produced a user-friendly product that produces results.

We have encouraged and supported our accounting staff to become accredited so we have knowledge and expertise spread across the board – this means support is always available to our clients ‘just when they need it’.
