Cash Manager Focus saves Rodney and Sam Kjestrup time to focus on their farm.

Rodney’s parents purchased the farm plus 40 Angus cows and 500 ewes, 27 years ago. Since then they’ve put in the hard yards to build a successful sheep and beef operation, KayJay Angus.

Rodney has been part of the running of the business for years, but recently he and his wife Sam, stepped up their commitment. KayJay Angus is now partly theirs, and they’re bringing their tech savy skills and next generation marketing to the table.

Rodney has started KayJay on Cash Manager Focus. His parents built their business on Cashmanager RURAL, and so Focus made total sense as a next generation tool. Rodney was keen to make the most of technology to keep growing the farm, and has found the new features available in Cash Manager not only save them time, but gives everyone easy access to key business information.

“Cash Manager does save us time with it’s up to date stock reconciliation and having online bank feeds. It also keeps the business all in one place with the ability to pull out reports on different areas of the business at any one time.”

When there are multiple family members, accountants and bank managers all helping make important business decisions, it is important to the Kjestrups that Cash Manager helps keep everyone in the loop.

“Cash Manager improves communication and relations with our accountant and bank manager, as they can see how the business is going at any point in time from their own device.”

Sam and Rodney are always looking to build on what the family has already achieved and improve their business for the future. This year they have started using video marketing on social media to extend the reach of their annual bull sales. Cash Manager provides them with the confidence that they all know where the business is at while they try out these new innovative ideas.
