To acquire a shareholding in CRS Software Limited (CRS) New Zealand’s leading farm management Tech Company. CRS is the publisher of Cashmanager Rural (CMR) and Cashmanager Focus (CMF) providing Software as a Service through its new cloud eco-system built for rural New Zealand.
Brian Eccles worked with Ian Campbell (the farmer who founded Cashmanager in 1981) and has been a shareholder since 1991. Brian acquired 100% ownership from Ian in 2003.
Having used the proceeds from the sale of his farm to invest in CRS Software Ltd, Brian has decided the time is right to sell say 25% of his shares to free up cash to buy a farm.
Brian plans to continue as Managing Director and retain 75% of the shares.
It is important that the new shareholders are a good cultural fit and are perceived as appropriate by the market.
Ideally the new shareholders will own a successful agribusiness.
The minimum investment is $1 million. Investors must qualify as “wholesale investors” for the purpose of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013.
CRS has been in business since 1981 and successfully transitioned from Desktop to Online and more recently into the cloud as a well-resourced SaaS company.
Because of its focus on the NZ farmer it is the market leader in NZ, with strong brand recognition in the Agri-business sector. Our single focus on New Zealand agriculture for 37 years has created a niche market which enables us to withstand challenges from global cloud accounting companies.
With an experienced board and excellent management team, CRS is stable, well managed and profitable with a strong Balance Sheet and credible growth forecasts. We have a roadmap to keep delivering innovative solutions for NZ farmers.
This is an opportunity to invest into the fast growing Tech sector, to diversify into a well-established, profitable business serving 50% of NZ pastoral farmers and, agriculture is a business you understand.
